A computer game has been invented by Labour supporters showing Jeremy Corbyn fighting to take money back from tax-dodging accountants and dodging Conservative ministers.

Corbyn Run, which was created by a collective known as Games for the Many, sees the Labour leader come under attack from Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt and the ghost of Margaret Thatcher, as well as Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson as he hangs from a zip wire,

Each time a level is completed, a Labour Party manifesto pledge is activated and the MP for Islington North is joined by people on the run who would benefit from the policies including cycle couriers, students and parents.

The game, aimed at 18 to 34-year-old voters, also sees Mr Corbyn take on Prime Minister Theresa May as she rides a blue Conservative bus with the word ‘Lies’ splashed across the side.

James Moulding, the game’s producer, told Buzzfeed News that Corbyn Run was inspired by a similar game made in support of left-wing French presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon called Fiscal Combat.

"It came out of the idea that there's a lot of people who wanted to put something into the election beyond canvassing,” he said.

"We've got an Italian and Spanish person who aren't able to vote at the election, and they wanted to use their game design skills to take forward Labour ideas."

The game is available on Android and iOS

He added that the endless runner format was designed to show the building of a movement and that the team purposefully made the game, which is available on iOS and Android, to be non-violent.

Players are shown how much money they’ve recovered from tax-dodgers at the end of the game and shown how it would be spent on Labour’s policies.

Corbyn Run is not officially associated with the Labour leader’s team but Mr Moulding told Buzzfeed News they received a good response from shadow chancellor John McDonnell's team.
