Jeremy Corbyn makes a boob in awkward high-five with Emily Thornberry

Jeremy Corbyn was hailed during the General Election campaign for his likeable personality, but it seems the one area that still needs practice is his high-fiving.

On a night of success for Labour, Mr Corbyn was seen at an election count beside Emily Thornberry, MP for Islington South and Finsbury.

Surrounded by applauding supporters at the election count at the Sobell Leisure centre, Holloway, Mr Corbyn tried for a high-five with Ms Thornberry.

But she changed her mind at the last minute, leaving Mr Corbyn's hand flailing in the wind before it appeared to land unexpectedly on her chest.

But neither of the pair seemed to notice as their clapping continued, both enjoying the high drama of election night.
