Anti-Donald Trump campaigners have taken over a London bus in a bid to convince Americans to vote for Hillary Clinton.

The double-decker bus is adorned with the words “United to Stop Trump”, American flags and red-and-white balloons and has been driving around the city targeting expats.

Campaigners, with their faces painted half with a Union Jack and half with stars and stripes, are persuading those who have not registered to sign up online.

The group’s aim is to persuade more American’s living in Britain to vote for Mrs Clinton in the election coming up in November.

Although eight million Americans live abroad, only 12 per cent of them currently vote in elections.

As well as London, United to Stop Trump is also holding campaigns in Berlin and New Mexico.
