With the final due to be aired tonight, everyone is getting involved in bidding farewell to Love Island – including the Tories.

The Conservative party have released water bottles in tribute to the popular ITV2 show and some have political messages on them.

Mimicking the bottles that contestants use in the villa, one bottle says: “Don’t let Corbyn mug you off”.

Posting on the party’s website, a statement read: “Yeah that’s right – we’re giving away Love Island water bottles for the final (obviously). Some with a political twist, some not so much.

“Either way you’re going to stay hydrated. With just a limited number available, winners will be chosen at random.”

The statement was then followed with the hashtag, #DontBeAMelt.

News of the bottle’s release has divided opinion on social media. One user said on Twitter: “The Tories are doing #loveisland water bottles and this is everything I wanted from life.”

While another said: “I would’ve loved to be in the room when ToryHQ decided the way to persuade young voters was releasing Love Island come political water bottles.”
