A Tory MP hoping for a smooth transition out of his Cabinet post was today left disappointed.
New Forest West Desmond Swayne tweeted his bewilderment after guessing he was to be axed from his role as International Development Minister.
He posted: "No calls. Arrived DFID (Department for International Development): Pass didn't work; All my stuff packed in boxes. The End?"
His tweet came as David Cameron unveiled his first Tory-only cabinet for 18 years.
