This has been a vintage year of flamboyance and fun on the red carpet. ES Magazine's Hermione Eyre presents the 10 women who kept our spirits high with their imaginative take on glamour.
NO. 1: FREIDA PINTO Quite simply, wow. Fresh, charming, elegant... the Slumdog Millionaire starlet hits a high note every time. Born in Mumbai but frequently in London on the arm of her actor boyfriend Dev Patel, she has the world's designers at her feet, and alternates between classics (Chanel or Lacroix) and younger designers (Zac Posen).
She personalises her look with earrings from jewellers Amrapali. As a former model, it's no wonder she could pick the only shade of mustard that doesn't clash with a red carpet.
