Fortnite fish trophy guide: The different locations in week eight's challenge

Tom Herbert16 November 2018

Gamers will be over the moon with the latest set of Fortnite challenges that have been released this week.

Each week developer Epic Games unleashes a whole new set of challenges for players to earn battle stars and experience.

Their release is hugely anticipated by the 78.3million who play the game - and this week's "dance with a fish trophy" challenge should prove to be immensely popular.

The "dance with a fish trophy at different named locations" challenge for season 6, week 8 sees gamers tasked with finding, and then dancing, in front of seven different fish trophies at seven different locations.

You can only complete the challenge, and thus get the reward, if you dance in front of all seven trophies at different, named, locations.

But there's a catch - at the moment there are no fish trophies, brilliantly modelled on Big Mouth Billy Bass, on the map.

However it is thought they could go live on Friday morning.

Where are the fish trophies?

It is likely that there will be more than seven trophies across the whole map.

All you'll need to do is approach the trophy and perform a dancing emote. You will then be told you're one step closer to completing the challenge.

So far, fish trophies can be found:

In the middle of the Greasy Grove nature store

The bottom floor of the house at the west side of Fatal Fields

In the sporting goods store at Retail Row

The back of the cabin at Lonely Lodge

A house right in the south of Snobby Shores

In the office of the Dusty Divot diner

The demolished building in Tilted Towers

A house at the east of Shify Shafts

The northwest of Salty Springs

The north of Risky Reels

In a shop at Lazy Links

Epic releases seven different challenges each week to gamers, which are separated into two tiers - regular and hard.

Regular challenges earn you five Battle Stars if you complete them while you can win 10 Battle Starts by completing hard challenges.

Three of the challenges are available for free while the other four are available only to Battle Pass users.

Collecting Battle Stars ups your Battle Pass, meaning you can earn in-game rewards.
