Primary school pupils can win the chance to light up Wembley stadium using a new online education tool.

The Light The Arch app is based on the programme used to illuminate the stadium’s arch during matches and designed to help seven to 11-year-olds learn the principles of coding.

Users will be able to code their own light show, with a video of the result sent to them on completion.

A select few will be chosen and their design translated into a real-life display at England v Netherlands on March 29. The app, created by EE, is supported by educational charity Apps for Good.
