Nadine Artois

Bradley Thompson

Managing director, Broadwick Live
Thompson opened Printworks in 2017 and has dominated the London scene since, with two more juggernauts arriving this year: the 10,000-capacity Drumsheds in Meridian Water and Exhibition in White City.

The Clancy brothers

METRO

Founders of Krankbrother
This DJ and promoter brother duo throw some of the city’s best nights. Earlier this year they launched their first ever full-blown festival in London: Re-Textured, along with the jazz-tinged Naked City.

Seb Glover

Co-founder, Fold
Glover opened east London club Fold alongside DJ and producer Lasha Jorjoliani and secured a rare 24-hour licence, proving round-the-clock venues can thrive in London. He’s also the founder of Shapes Collective, who are behind Homerton’s boundary-pushing The Glove That Fits.

Ruby Kwasiba Savage

DJ and label manager, Brownswood
As a driving force behind Gilles Peterson’s record label, Brownswood, Savage has played a critical part in fuelling London’s multifaceted jazz revival.

Patrick Forrester and Ben Croft

Founders of Heels & Souls
Forrester and Croft are leading the way for charity-focused clubbing in London. Each year, they choose a different organisation to fundraise for through their Heels & Souls nights, generating more than £10,000 so far.

Jamz Supernova

Glyn Fussell and Amy Redmond

Glyn Fussell
Dave Benett

Fat Tony

DJ
Superstar DJ and friend to the stars, Fat Tony found fame in the hedonistic club scene of 80s London. He’s helmed the decks everywhere from Soho to St Tropez, and now combines his musical career with LGTBQ+ activism and work in helping people recover from addiction.

Nick Grimshaw

Radio Host | NEW
In 2018 everyone’s favourite party person Grimshaw left his job as BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast host, but that hasn’t dented his popularity or cachet. He now hosts the Drivetime slot on BBC Radio 1 with his trademark wit and elan.

Jodie Harsh

DJ | NEW
The Shoreditch-based DJ and promoter, Jay Clarke is better known as Jodie Harsh, a drag alias. Harsh has created some of the world’s hottest club nights including Room Service, the infamous party which launched in 2010 and was exported all over the globe.

The Progress 1000, in partnership with the global bank Citi, is the Evening Standard’s celebration of the people changing London’s future for the better. #Progress1000
