A busy dual carriageway was closed today after pigs went on the run.

The A21 in Kent was shut after the incident, according to Transport for London.

Pictures on social media showed the pigs on the road's verge before later trotting over to a golf course near Orpington.

TfL tweeted: "A21 Sevenoaks Road remains closed inbound btwn Hewitts Roundabout and Pratts Bottom due to pigs in the carriageway."
