Commuters are facing travel disruption this evening as delays hit four London Underground lines and the DLR at rush hour.

The District line had both severe and minor delays at 5pm due to a signal failure at Dagenham East.

There were severe delays between Barking and Earls Court and minor delays on the rest of the line.

Tickets were being accepted on London buses and C2C, TfL said.

Circle line commuters faced severe delays, which were downgraded to minor at 5pm, due to a faulty train at Baker Street.

The faulty train also caused severe delays on the Hammersmith and City line and minor delays on the Metropolitan line.

DLR services were also severely delayed between Woolwich Arsenal and Bank due to a faulty train at Pontoon Dock.

It comes after commuters faced chaos getting home on Monday due to a faulty train, signal failure and mechanical issue in parts of the capital.
