Thousands of commuters face delays on the Tube this morning after the entire Piccadilly Line was disrupted by signal failure.

Transport for London said signal failure at Hammersmith meant "severe delays" for travellers on the service.

Frustrated passengers are taking to Twitter to vent their anger at the delays.

Among them is Seb Smith who tweeted: "Sort it out tfl tubes on Piccadilly line knackered and now delays on overland great start to the day."

It comes as TfL also reported minor delays on the District Line between Earl's Court and Richmond because of signal problems at Upminster and no services between Edmonton Green and Enfield Town on the London Overground because of the same issue.

However, those services have now resumed.
