From the birth of Princess Charlotte to the surprise election of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader, 2015 was a busy year in news.

The New Zealand All Blacks won the Rugby World Cup as it was hosted here in the UK and Zayn Malik quit One Direction.

Meanwhile David Cameron's Conservatives secured their first majority since 1992 in a dramatic and unpredictable election.

Tragedies such as the Paris terror attacks were met with demonstrations of strength and unity as Wembley was lit up with the colours of the French flag for an international friendly held days after 130 people died in the country's capital.
