Lord Alan Sugar has reportedly separated with another Apprentice winner Sian Gabbidon, just weeks after hiring his new business partner.

The business mogul was said to have parted company with the winner of the 2018 season who owns a bespoke beach and loungewear company.

Lord Sugar ceased his position in the company as his director role was “terminated” last month, according to The Sun.

The tycoon’s company Amsvest Limited invested a customary £250,000 in the Apprentice star’s start-up, despite low sales in her first two years of business.

But new documents from Companies House revealed earlier this week uncovered that he stepped down from his role, according to reports.

Gabbidon has since replaced him as secretary and gained “significant control” of her company.

She apparently joins previous Apprentice winners who have also been cut off by the 75-year-old businessman after investment.

Lord Sugar has also parted ways with 2015 winner Joseph Valente, 2016 victor Alana Spencer and 2017 winner James White.

Recently, Harpreet Kaur was crowned the latest winner of the Apprentice.

The entrepreneur has invested in Kaur’s dessert company Oh So Yum!

She has set her heart on expanding to an online platform and plans to open more branches across the UK.

The 30-year-old triumphed over finalist Kathryn Louise Burn who runs an online pyjama business for pets and their owners.

The Standard has reached out to a representative of Alan Sugar for comment.
