BA boss in last minute strike talks

BA chief Willie Walsh in last minute talks over planned strike by cabin crews
12 April 2012

British Airways chief executive Willie Walsh is involved in surprise last minute talks over the planned strike by the airline's cabin crew.

Sources have said that Mr Walsh was holding talks, with time running out to avert the three-day walkout from Saturday.

Despite the development there was little sign that a breakthrough to the deadlocked dispute over cost cutting was imminent.

BA declined to comment.
