A furious driver has been filmed in a bizarre road rage rant in which he asks a moped rider: “Do you know who I am? I'm Ronnie Pickering”.
Footage of the altercation, which follows a seemingly innocuous driving manoeuvre, is going viral after the moped rider was apparently left underwhelmed by his adversary's identity.
Driving a Citroen Xsara Picasso, the motorist is seen jostling for space with the motorcyclist as the pair drive through Hull.
As the driver sounds his horn, the rider of the moped appears baffled and asks "What are you doing?" before continuing his journey on a roundabout.
The driver then follows him and beeps his horn again as the motorcyclist waits for a gap in traffic to turn right across a busy road.
As he turns, the car follows him again and stops sharply in front of him, shouting "come on then" through his window.
He goes on: "You got a problem? Do you know who I am?"
Apparently confused by the question, the moped rider replies: "What? Do I care? Come on, who are you then?"
The man replies: "Ronnie Pickering" to which the moped rider responds: "Who?"
In an explosion of rage, the driver exclaims: "Ronnie Pickering!"
The expletive-laden exchange continues - and was filmed in its entirety by YouTube user Steve Midz on a helmet-mounted camera.
As the row culminates with requests from Mr Pickering for a "bare-knuckled fight", a woman is seen sitting passively in the passenger seat.
The footage ends with both Mr Pickering and the moped rider driving away without coming to blows.
The Evening Standard has approached Mr Pickering for a comment.
