Boris Johnson shares high-energy ‘People’s PMQs’ promo video complete with rock soundtrack and Larry the cat

Number 10 has released a jam-packed promotional video ahead of Boris Johnson’s next question-and-answer session with the public.

The 30-second video, shared on Twitter, invites Britons to submit questions about coronavirus to a minister via a dedicated Government website.

It begins with a view of Larry the Downing Street cat before launching into a montage of Mr Johnson going about his daily work.

A clip of the PM at the podium is swifty followed by him walking up the stairs of his home, cup of tea in hand.

Footage of him visiting workers at a shopping mall is then overlaid with the message: “Ask the Prime Minister your questions about his vision for our future.”

The words dissolve into the striking image of a flypast soaring over the skies of Westminster.

From there, Mr Johnson appears at his desk to tell the public: “Hi folks and welcome to another addition of the People’s PMQs.”

Meanwhile, another caption pops up saying: “On Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and YouTube… On Friday… The People’s PMQs.”

The crescendo of high-octane music and stirring images ends, simply, with a toll from Big Ben.
