Boxing star Amir Khan has appeared in court accused of dangerous driving.
Khan, 19, of Lostock, near Bolton, denies hitting a pedestrian in his BMW, breaking the man's leg.
Khan, wearing a T-shirt and jeans, spoke only once to confirm his name and address.
In a brief hearing at Bolton Magistrates' Court, the case was committed for trial at Bolton Crown Court.
The boxer was arrested in June after an incident in Bradshawgate, Bolton town centre, on the evening of March 2.
The case was adjourned until November 3 for a plea management hearing.
The youngster shot to fame at the 2004 Olympics when he won a silver medal.
After the Athens Games, he signed a reported £1 million contract to turn professional, and has yet to be beaten in the ring as a pro.
