Newly-crowned Formula One world champion Jenson Button is due to get a hero's welcome when he greets fans on British soil after clinching motor sport's greatest prize.
The 29-year-old will be at the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Greenhithe, Kent, where he will be taking part in a promotional event for Virgin Media.
Button will soak up the congratulations after coming fifth in the Brazilian Grand Prix, giving him enough points to take the world championship crown from fellow Briton Lewis Hamilton.
The Frome Flyer battled his way up the field in a pulsating race on Sunday after starting 14th on the grid at Interlagos, giving him an unassailable 89 points with one race to go in Abu Dhabi.
His win was given extra resonance after his Northamptonshire-based Brawn team claimed the constructors' title, just over 10 months after they appeared to be on the scrapheap when former backers Honda pulled out of the sport.
Button - Britain's 10th Formula One world champion - will get back behind the wheel when he races a super-charged Mercedes SL AMG on a bespoke high-speed circuit at Bluewater.
Button will later answer fans' questions during a live question and answer session hosted by the BBC's David Croft at the sprawling shopping complex.
The Grand Prix star has already been tipped for a host of honours in recognition of his win, including this year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
In his home town in Somerset, mention is also being made about Button receiving the freedom of Frome, where locals packed pubs to watch his remarkable triumph.

Button was more low key in his celebrations, he revealed, spending just 45 minutes at Brawn GP's championship-toasting party before returning to his Sao Paulo hotel. Once there he relaxed in his room for three hours because, in his words, "I wanted a bit of alone time", to reflect on his rollercoaster season.
