The Duke of Cambridge will cheer on England at Wembley in their Euro 2020 semi-final clash against Denmark.

William, president of the Football Association, will watch the men’s squad on Wednesday in their bid to reach a first major tournament final since winning the World Cup in 1966.

At the last 16 match against Germany last week, William was joined by the Duchess of Cambridge and their son Prince George, who was dressed in a mini-me suit and tie just like his father.

But Kate is currently self-isolating after coming into contact with someone who later tested positive for coronavirus.

She was informed on Friday and is staying at home at Kensington Palace

William wrote on Twitter how he “can’t wait” for the England v Denmark match.

He praised England’s 4-0 quarter-final triumph over Ukraine in Rome on Saturday, writing: “Another top team performance and clean sheet from @England tonight. #ThreeLions .

“Well played to Ukraine. Can’t wait for Wednesdays semi final! Onwards  W.”
