Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have secretly got engaged - after the rugby star proposed to the singer while she was hungover.
Henson, 28, told OK! magazine he got down on one knee to his girlfriend of five years the day after they celebrated her 24th birthday.
The pair want to marry on an island hideaway with their children, Ruby, two, and Dexter, 15 months, as bridesmaid and page boy.
Rugby star Henson secretly bought Church a two-carat heart-shaped diamond engagement ring while they were on holiday in Dubai in January.
He proposed to her six weeks ago, when the Voice of an Angel singer was feeling a little worse for wear after spending the previous night celebrating her birthday.
Church said she was surprised to hear a helicopter, belonging to Henson's rugby boss, land in the garden of their home.
It whisked the couple off to a seafront restaurant in Truro, Cornwall, which Church assumed was a birthday treat until they went for a walk and Henson went down on one knee.
He told her: "We've had good times and hard times, but it's mostly been good times and I think we're meant to be together now for the rest of our lives."
Church told OK! she was "absolutely joyous" and "really emotional" and the proposal was "awesome".
Henson joked that he proposed when Church was feeling a bit "sketchy" because she is a lot more "lovey, so I thought she's definitely going to say yes then".
