David Cameron slips into Scottish accent

David Cameron attempted a Scottish accent at a speech in Edinburgh today, but people were less than impressed with the effort.

Mr Cameron was reminiscing about watching England lose a game of rugby in 1990 during the Five Nations.

He said he had just left the ground and entered a chip shop when one Scot said to him: “What will it be lads, humble pie”, which Mr Cameron attempted with his own Highland spin.

One Twitter user posted: "David Cameron trying to do a Scottish accent is by far the most cringeworthy thing you'll hear today..."

While Josh Hollis wrote: "David Cameron's Scottish accent is grounds for another referendum.
