Driver killed in M4 crash with wild boar and lorry

A driver was killed after their car crashed into a wild boar and was then hit by a lorry on the M4 in Wiltshire.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene, between junctions 17 and 16, just before 7pm last night.

Wiltshire Police said the driver of the Seat Ibiza car died at the scene. The lorry driver did not require any hospital treatment.

The wild boar is also believed to have died in the crash.

Part of the M4 was closed overnight following the collision.
