The woman at the centre of the Max Mosley scandal has spoken of her regret and apologised to the Formula One boss.
In an interview with Sky News, the mother of two - referred to as Woman E - said she had been "stupid" and "naive" for filming the sadomasochistic session.
Mr Mosley won a record £60,000 in privacy damages against the News of the World for the distress caused by claims that he had indulged in a "sick Nazi orgy".
The woman behind the secret filming - which involved five women and the president of the FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) - said it did not have Nazi connotations.
The professional dominatrix said the session did have a German prison scene but added that it was not Nazi. But she added: "I think really, the Nazi thing makes it look really worse, doesn't it. I think if it had come out as a German scene, probably other people would have made their own mind up and said, 'Oh, that looks like what the Nazis did' or something like that.
"But it was never mentioned, it was never talked about that it was going to be a Nazi scene, we just had confirmation to say that it was going to be a German prison scenario."
Woman E said filming the session was difficult to do "mainly because you are feeling a nervous wreck, you are doing something you shouldn't be doing and obviously it wasn't very nice at all".
She added that she had lost her career and that of her MI5 surveillance officer husband, as a result of her actions.
Talking of her regret, Woman E said: "I can't take back what has happened, I will never be able to do that. I can only apologise for what has happened but it is not going to take back all the damage that has been done."
The dominatrix said she felt "really sorry" for Mr Mosley's wife, adding that if she could speak to the Formula One chief she would "just get on my knees and apologise and just say I was sorry for everything that has happened and what has been caused".
