Married couple found dead at home

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths of Robert and Nicola Holden

Police are investigating after a married couple were found dead at their home.

It is suspected that Robert Holden, 44, strangled wife Nicola, 40, before he killed himself.

Their bodies were found at their semi-detached bungalow in Low Lane, Morecambe, Lancashire, on Friday afternoon.

Lancashire Police confirmed that detectives are not looking for anybody else in connection with the deaths.

A spokeswoman said: "The post-mortem examinations have revealed that Mrs Holden died of ligature strangulation and Mr Holden's cause of death was strangulation by hanging.

"The investigation continues although police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident."
