The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been spotted watching Trooping the Colour with other members of the Royal family as gthe couple made a low-key return to public life in the UK.

Prince Harry and Meghan were seen peering out of the large windows of the Major General’s Office at Horse Guards Parade during the ceremony.

The Duchess, 40, was pictured chatting to Isla and Savannah Phillips, who was holding Lena Tindall.

In one touching picture, Meghan was seen putting a finger to her mouth as she spoke to the younger family members.

Meghan and Prince Harry, 37, returned to the UK with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, earlier this week.

The couple have not been seen together in Britain for nearly two years following their departure as working royals.

Their return will be the time members of the Royal family will meet Lilibet, who will turn one on Saturday.

A statement announcing their return last month read: “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children.”

As they are no longer working royals, they did not join the Queen, 96, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for a flypast.

The Queen was pictured smiling as she and senior members of the family, including Princes Charles and William took in the spectacle.
