Molly-Mae Hague said she has stopped purchasing “really expensive clothes” after the £800k burglary.

The Love Island star and her boyfriend Tommy Fury fell victims of an £800k theft as their plush Manchester flat was targeted while the couple were out partying in London in October last year.

Now the Pretty Little Thing star, 21, admitted her interest in “jewellery, nice bags, watches and really expensive clothes” has disappeared since the burglary and she has begun to make changes to her celebrity lifestyle.

The model, wearing a £285 Alexander Wang turtle neck top, got candid when she was asked about her spending habits after the robbery in a Q&A which she shared with her fans via her YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Among the questions, Ms Hague was asked: “Have your views on having nice things changed since the robbery?”

Speaking to the camera, the glamorous influencer revealed she had changed her spending habits.

She said: “It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot recently. The answer to that is 100% yes.”

“In regards to the jewellery I used to buy, watches, nice bags, really expensive clothes and stuff, I think most definitely, definitely, the interest in that for me has just disappeared since the robbery.” She added.

“Why would I ever want to own something that could compromise mine and Tommy’s safety? It is absolutely not worth it in my eyes.”

In the wake of the burglary, the famous couple moved out of their home to a new mystery location and they have beefed up their security.

Ms Hague and Mr Fury first fell in love on the set in Mallorca for the summer series of Love Island in 2019.

They have been inseparable ever since leaving the villa and making a home for themselves together in Manchester.
