Hundreds of mourners have paid tribute to one of the Army's "brightest stars", who was killed in Afghanistan.
Corporal Johnathan Moore, of The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (1 SCOTS), died in an explosion near Sangin, Helmand Province, on February 7.
The 22-year-old was on a routine night patrol providing security to the local people when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated, killing him and Private Sean McDonald, 26, whose funeral was held on Tuesday.
More than 200 colleagues and family members paid tribute to Cpl Moore at Cadzow Parish Church in Hamilton, Lanarkshire.
Mourners wept as his coffin, with his cap and belt, was carried in to the church.
Cpl Moore, who was born in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, and brought up in Hamilton, leaves his parents Ian and Karen and sisters Emma and Heather.
Cpl Moore's mother Karen and two sisters were among mourners in the church.
Ian Whitelaw, Cpl Moore's stepfather, paid a family tribute to him.
He said: "Jonathan died doing a job that he truly loved and the family must take comfort from that.
"Jonathan, you may have gone from our homes but never gone from our hearts and minds. We love you. Rest in peace."
