Nigella Lawson hopes to crack America with a new cooking talent show set to debut on US TV in two weeks time.
The Taste, which co-stars three American celebrity chefs including Anthony Bourdain, will launch on the major ABC network on January 22.
Contestants — known on the show as “kitchenistas” — will be both professional and amateur cooks. US critics are describing the show as a mix of American Idol and Top Chef.
