New mum Perrie Edwards shares baby’s adorable name and sweet snap

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has shared a glimpse of her newborn baby and revealed his name for the first time.

It was the first photograph revealing her baby’s face to her fans.

Her little boy was wrapped in a woolly blanket and wearing a baby blue knit hat.

Ms Edwards and her footballer boyfriend have named their little boy Axel.

She captioned the picture: “2 weeks of loving you. I’ve never felt love like this before! Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain.”

Many took to the comments to share their well-wishes to the star.

Among the comments, one fan wrote: “Welcome Axel!”, while another said: “omg!! so happy for you.”

Ms Edwards previously shared a black and white picture of her baby’s little hand resting on the side of his face as well as one of his little foot.

The Touch singer said: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21”, with Mr Oxlade-Chamberlain sharing the same photos and adding: “Welcome to the world little one.”

Ms Edwards and her footballer boyfriend have been together for four and a half years.

At the time, her announcement come just days after her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock told fans she was pregnant; Ms Pinnock has since welcomed twins.
