Police are concerned for the welfare of a man who has been missing for more than a week.

The force renewed their appeal for help to find Marius Aionesei, 34, who was last seen at home at 6pm on Saturday, 27 March in Canning Town, east London.

He was reported missing the following day by housemates.

Mr Aionesei, who is Romanian by birth, is described as of average height and of medium build.

He has dark brown hair and wears glasses.

It is not known what he might be wearing.

The police said Mr Aionesei’s disappearance is out of character and officers are concerned for his welfare.

A number of enquiries have been carried out to find him but it is not known where he may have travelled to.

Anyone who has seen Mr Aionesei, or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police via 101 quoting reference Cad 7194/28Mar.
