The Duke of Edinburgh still has an eye for the ladies at 90.

He was escorting the Queen during a royal visit to Bromley when he spotted 25-year-old council worker Hannah Jackson wearing a bright red zip dress.

He said:“I would get arrested if I unzipped that dress!”

Asked about the remark, Ms Jackson said: "We were talking about the event generally, it was quite a busy day and I was in the formal line up.

“I’m not sure really what to say."

The Duke was accompanying the Queen as her Diamond Jubilee tour of the country took her to Bromley, where the couple were met by more than 6,000 flag waving school children.

The Queen was dressed in a baby blue wool crepe dress and a white, lavender and baby blue boucle tweed coat. She drank tea with couples celebrating their diamond wedding anniversaries this year.

The Duke has made a string of politically-uncorrect comments to women over the years.

Two years ago, when a female Sea Cadet told him she worked in a nightclub, he said: "Is it a strip club?"
