Princess Beatrice is now counting down the hours until her little sister Eugenie marries Jacks Brooksbank at Windsor Castle.

Beatrice, the Queen's granddaughter, is the eighth in line to the throne and will be maid of honour at the ceremony where more than 800 people are expected to attend.

Eugenie, 28, and Mr Brooksbank, 31, will marry in St George's Chapel, the same venue that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex married in earlier this year.

How old is Princess Beatrice and who are her parents?

Princes Beatrice was born on August 8, 1988, at The Portland Hospital, London.

She is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, who divorced in 1996.

Her full name is Beatrice Elizabeth Mary, with both names honouring her grandmother The Queen. She is her fifth grandchild and currently eighth in line to the throne.

Where did Princess Beatrice go to school?

After attending Upton House School in Windsor, Beatrice, 30, went to Cowarth Park School before moving onto St George's School in Ascot.

In 2008 she began her studies at Goldsmiths College, London, where she graduated in 2011 with a 2:1 in History and History of Ideas.

What does she do for a living?

Unlike cousins William and Harry, Beatrice is not a 'working royal' meaning she must juggle a day job with attending royal events.

According to reports, she works full-time for a US-based technology company called Afiniti and is understood to split her time between the two countries.

Is Princess Beatrice married?

The princess is believed to be single, having dated Uber executive Dave Clark for 10 years from 2006 to 2016.

Clark, 33, married his American girlfriend Lynn Anderson in a lavish Italian wedding in July this year, after dating for less than two years.

What is Princess Beatrice's net worth?

She is said to share an estimated worth of £3.6 million with her younger sister, with the majority of this fortune coming from trust funds established by the Queen Mother before her death in 2002.

Beatrice and Eugenie also allegedly received a £1.4 million trust fund from the royal family as part of their mother's £3 million divorce settlement in 1996.
