A High Court judge has continued an injunction aimed at preventing industrial action by prison officers.
The decision was announced by Mr Justice Wyn Williams, sitting in London.
The order was sought against the POA (formerly the Prison Officers' Association) by the Ministry of Justice.
The Ministry of Justice was granted an injunction which will remain in force until May 8, the date on which a Joint Industrial Relations Procedural Agreement (Jirpa) comes to an end by agreement.
An injunction was originally imposed by the High Court last summer, aimed at halting an illegal wildcat walkout by thousands of prison officers.
Its aim was to prevent the POA from inducing, authorising or supporting any form of industrial action which would disrupt the operation of the Prison Service in England and Wales.
The POA contested the latest injunction move.
