A used car buyer has unwittingly purchased a Jaguar from the Queen, according to a car sales company.
The three-litre V6 Sovereign model, which comes with heated seats, parking sensors and a dog grille, was sold online for £15,000.
Car firm Fletchdale Ltd was involved in the sale and said the new owner had no idea who they were buying the car from.
A Fletchdale Ltd spokesman told The Sun: "It went to a buyer unaware of its former owner. Someone unwittingly bought a slice of royalty."
The monarch was spotted driving the green Jag around Windsor last year but recently decided to sell it.
The automatic car, which was seven years old, had just 7,600 miles on the clock when it was sold.
The Queen - who is the only person in the country allowed to drive without a license - made headlines last year when she drove the estate car onto a grass verge last year to avoid a young couple.
