Simon Cowell is set to marry Lauren Silverman in London next month, according to reports.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge and socialite have been together for 13 years and they share eight-year-old son Eric.

Cowell only popped the question five months ago but now he reportedly wants to head down the “aisle as quickly as he can”.

"He has taken charge of the planning and the date has been set for June,” a source told The Sun.

"The ceremony is going to take place in London, with their son Eric front and centre, naturally."

The music mogul was once a proud bachelor and seemed unlikely to ever settle down until he met Silverman.

Recently he detailed his decision to propose after growing closer to his other half during lockdown.

He told The Sun at the time: “We were in the same house for over a year and I thought, ‘Well, actually, we get on really, really well’.

“And for Eric, as he gets older, he will be asked more and more about his parents, and I thought it was the right thing to do for him.

“I also just couldn’t see myself ever dating anyone again. The idea of going out on a first date now is too weird. My mum and dad had an amazing marriage and I used to call them best friends, and I think that’s a big part of it.”

In February, the Britain’s Got Talent judge admitted he enlisted the help of his son with planning his romantic proposal.

“One hundred percent he had to coach me,” He told Entertainment Tonight. “And we planned it. He was a big part of it.”

He added: “Family is everything and that is what I kind of took away from lockdown.”

The Standard has contacted a representative for Simon Cowell for comment.
