Two teenage boys stabbed in Lambeth

Police are appealing for information after two teenagers were stabbed in Lambeth.

A 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were found with stab injuries on Cowley Road at around 8pm on Wednesday, December 29.

They were both taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The teenagers were attacked a day before two young people lost their lives less than an hour a apart on Thursday.

Zaian Aimable-Lina, 15, died at the scene of the attack in Ashburton Park, Croydon , shortly after 7.30pm on Thursday.

The Metropolitan Police said a post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.

A 15-year-old boy remains in custody on suspicion of murder.

Almost one hour later a 16-year-old boy was fatally wounded at Philpot’s Farm, in Yiewsley, west London, and was pronounced dead at 8.25pm.

Thirty teenagers were will last year in London, a grim new record.
