A teenager is in a critical condition after being stabbed at a McDonald’s restaurant in Ipswich.
Four people have been arrested after the 16-year-old was stabbed on Wednesday evening.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries from the attack, which took place in the fast food restaurant in Ravenswood Avenue, Ipswich.
He was rushed to hospital where he is fighting for his life.
It is the third stabbing in the town over the past two weeks.
Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Parkes of Suffolk Police said: "We have arrested four people in connection in what is still a dynamic situation.
"The victim remains in a critical condition and we are at the hospital supporting the victim’s family.
"The support of the public remains absolutely crucial and I urge anyone who may have the slightest information to call us straight away,” he added.
It comes after a man in his 20s was stabbed more than 10 times in the area on Monday – whose condition has been described as serious but stable.
Police have not linked it to the fatal stabbing of Tavis Spencer-Aitkens, 17, who was attacked as he walked in Packard Avenue in Ipswich on 2 June.
"The public will see an increased number of officers in the area. I would urge anyone who has any information which may be relevant to call Suffolk Police," Mr Parkes said.
