Tesco has revealed that, in an effort to make Christmas shopping easier this year, it is handing thousands of customers coupons totaling £500.

2,000 winners will receive two £250 Tesco gift cards as part of the iconic grocery chain's "Win your Christmas Shop" promotion, which runs until December 17.

But how do you win? Here's everything we know.

How to win the £500 coupon?

Spending £1 in a Tesco store is all that is required to enter the contest, which is open to all 14.4 million Clubcard members. Additionally, if you purchase at least £50 online, £25 through Click and Collect, or £15 through Tesco's Whoosh, you can enter the sweepstakes.

In addition, you must make the purchase using your Clubcard and retain the receipt, whether it was made online or in person. Next, submit the receipt to TescoWinYourChristmasShop.com via an upload.

Before Christmas, there will be three weekly prize drawings that you can join once a week. Every household is limited to using a single receipt, though. The next week, the winners will be chosen at random, declared, and notified.

The lucky winner will receive an email from Tesco, and you will have ten days to collect your £500 prize. You will receive the two £250 e-gift cards straight, and you can use them in-store.

They will receive one of the coupons, and the other will be given to a friend, relative, or charity of their choice.

The grocery giant has revealed that more than £1 million will be distributed to winners each week to assist them in paying for their Christmas shopping, with over 650 winners to be named each week.

Expired Clubcard points

Tesco shoppers were warned recently that over £16 million worth of Clubcard vouchers expired yesterday, November 30.

If you were given vouchers in November 2021 and have not used them yet, unfortunately, you're no longer able to spend them.
