The stars of hit sitcom The Inbetweeners have signed up to a joint appearance at Comic Con in November.
Simon Bird, 36, Blake Harrison, 35, Joe Thomas, 37, and James Buckley, 33, have agreed to talk about the E4 sitcom and its two feature length film releases at the event in Liverpool.
An event insider told the Daily Star: “Having the cast reunite for the event is a massive deal.
“We know a lot of people have often called for them to get back together and reunite for a massive public event, so we are glad we can do that.
“We are hoping they will spill some behind-the-scenes secrets.”
It will be the first time the four have appeared together since a controversial reunion show in 2019 was panned by critics and fans alike.
James later apologised for taking part in the anniversary special, hosted by comic Jimmy Carr, and said it made him look like a “f**king idiot”.
The reunion was largely criticised by disappointed fans because so many had thought it would be a brand new episode of the sixth form series.
However, the Comic Con event will not include other big names from the show, such as Emily Atack.
She played Charlotte Hinchcliffe in the comedy before going on to star in ITV’s reality show ‘I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’ and hosting her own sketch show.
But fans hoping for a new episode featuring Simon, Will, Neil and Jay will be left disappointed - the cast has long ruled out any more seasons or films.
They cite the fact they are now in their mid-30s, meaning they could no longer get away with playing schoolboys.
James, who played Jay, has previously said: “There definitely will never be any more Inbetweeners.”
