Three face sentence for boy's death

12 April 2012

Three men are due to be sentenced for their parts in the murder of a teenager who was gunned down for "disrespecting" one of their mothers.

Kadeem Blackwood, 15, was shot through the chest after he "dissed" the mother of 20-year-old Michael Hamblett-Sewell, who was found guilty last month of the teenager's murder.

Hamblett-Sewell, of Marlborough Road, Allenton, Derby, will be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court alongside Callum Campbell, a "lieutenant" in the A1 Crew and the man he ordered to shoot Kadeem at the Caxton Street recreation ground in Derby last November.

Campbell, 19, of Osmaston Park Road, Allenton, Derby, earlier admitted murdering Kadeem.

Ashley Campbell, 24, also of Osmaston Park Road, admitted assisting an offender and will also be sentenced.
