Three people have been killed and 11 were injured in a crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire.
There were reports that as many as five vehicles, including a lorry, were involved in a collision on the southbound carriageway near Loudwater.
One casualty was airlifted to hospital and the other 10 were transported by ambulance, a police spokesman said.
