Swathes of the UK face a washout on Sunday as a fresh band of rain moves across the country in the wake of Storm Callum.
The miserable conditions come after temperatures peaked at 27C in eastern parts of the Britain on Saturday as Callum battered the west.
Wales bore the brunt of the storm, and at least two people were killed amid high winds and torrential downpours.
The areas of south Wales which were worst affected will see the rain ease off significantly on Sunday.
Met Office meteorologist Steven Keates told the Standard: “In London today is going to be a decidedly different day to yesterday.
“There will be cloudy skies with rain in and around the capital which will turn heavy at times.
“Temperatures will be in their high teens, significantly cooler than they were yesterday.
“It will be a similar picture for swathes of the UK, although those areas further west which have seen huge amounts of rain will finally turn drier, brighter, with some decent sunny spells developing by the end of the day on Sunday.
“In Northern Ireland and Scotland the skies will clear and there will be some sunshine later in the day.”

Downpours will continue to affect large parts of England on Monday during a changeable week of weather for Britain.
“There will be further rain in central, eastern and southern England tomorrow, with London cloudy and seeing rain at times during the day,” Mr Keates said.
“Scotland and Northern Ireland will see the best of the weather, with lots of sunshine around.
“The rest of the week is looking changeable, with some wind and rain and some frost and fog in the mornings.”
