This is the moment a pub-goer replicated Del Boy's famous fall through a bar in front of his chortling drinking pals.

The hilarious moment, voted the UK's favourite Only Fools and Horses scene, was replicated by a reveller at a Lancashire pub.

In CCTV video filmed inside the Arden Inn, a punter is seen leaning against a pool table drinking a pint while another man prepares to move it to make way for a band.

After a few moments, the reveller moves away from the table just as a pub worker moves it several feet towards another corner of the pub.

The drinker then leans back into the now empty space, stumbling backwards before toppling on to his backside and spilling his drink.

Fellow pub-goers laugh as the man steadily gets back to feet and with a bemused look points at the spot where the table was before it was moved.

Landlord Mark Jackson said the incident happened on Sunday night around 6pm, appropriately just before an '80s tribute band was due to perform.

"Everyone's been talking about [since it happened]," the 42-year-old told the Standard.

"The guy, his name's Matt, was kind of embarrassed. Another customer moved the table to make way for a live band."

He added: "People have been comparing him to Del Boy."

Footage of the incident was posted on YouTube yesterday with the caption: "A customer moves pooltable to make way for the band, another forgets and goes to lean on the table...awww"
