Pudsy Day is almost upon us as the annual Children in Need 2021 kicks off soon.
The fundraising bonanza – billed as one of the biggest charitable nights of the year – aims to inspire the nation to support disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
The appeal will see mascot Pudsey Bear join forces with celebrities for a jam-packed evening of star-studded entertainment.
When is the show?
The show, which is taking place live from BBC Salford, airs on both BBC One and BBC Two on Friday November 19 from 7pm to 10pm.
Who is hosting the show this year?
The all-star line-up includes television presenter Ade Adepitan, actress Melanie Giedroyc, comedian Graham Norton, former Arsenal footballer Alex Scot and actor Chris Ramsey.
The theme of the event is “together we can change young lives”.
What events are taking place?
A number of fun celebrity-filled events will take place through the night.
Singing competition ‘I can see your voice’ is set to return with a lip syncing special.
The show will see host Paddy McGuiness and the Celebrity Investigators panel including Jimmy Carr, Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden take part in a series of musical challenges.
Pop superstar Ed Sheeran and fellow singer-songwriter Thomas Grennan will take to the stage for a live performance.
Short documentary films and comedy specials are likely to feature too.
