A woman has appeared in court accused of keeping terror information in computer software.
Houria Chahed Chentouf, of Reynell Drive, Manchester, was charged with possessing a USB memory stick, which was allegedly used for terror-related purposes.
She appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court in full burka and speaking via an Arabic translator, she said she was "too dizzy" to stand up as she confirmed her name and address.
The 40-year-old, who was charged under the Terrorism Act 2000, was remanded in custody until a bail application at the same court on November 6.
Her arrest came after police searched addresses in Manchester and Holland.
District judge Anthony Evans said she would remain in custody due to the severity of the charge.
