Adele has declared she she has “never been happier” as she marked her 34th birthday on Friday.

The Easy on Me singer took to social media to mark the milestone by sharing some new pictures and thank fans for their well wishes.

One of the images shows her wearing a black dress with elaborate sleeves.

In the second she looks fresh-faced and relaxed with a broad smile on her face.

“What a difference a year makes! If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can’t wait to be 60!” wrote the London-born star.

“I’ve never been happier! So many lessons, so many blessings to be grateful for. This is 34, and I love it here!Thank you for the birthday love as always x”

2022 has been a somewhat turbulent year for the mum-of-one so far.

Following the success of her fourth studio album 30 last year, Adele announced her debut Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace.

Despite fans clamouring for tickets, she pulled the plug on the entire production the day before the first concert.

In a video posted to social media, she tearfully said “my show ain’t ready”.

There were whispers that the postponement had been down to issues in her relationship with American sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul.

Adele hit back by sporting a huge diamond ring sparking engagement speculation which she refused to confirm or deny.

Her Vegas shows have yet to be re-scheduled and ticketholders have not been refunded.

Country singer Keith Urban was brought in to fill the March/April slot that replaced the Weekends with Adele schedule.
