Canadian premier Justin Trudeau dressed as Superman’s alter ego Clark Kent for Halloween

Sporting slicked back hair and black glasses, the internet’s favourite Prime Minister showed off his Halloween costume on social media as he went trick-or-treating with his family, left, in Ottowa.

He even wore the costume to the House of Commons.

Revealing the “S” logo underneath his shirt, he quipped to reporters: “You gotta do it.”

Fans were quick to praise a video of the fun-loving politician showing off his costume.

In reply to the clip shared by CBC News, one wrote: "He's a Superman everyday in my eyes."

Another added: "This just made my day."

Mr Trudeau has also previously dressed as Han Solo of Star Wars.
