The cricket bat which Pistorius allegedly used to slam open the toilet door on the night he shot Ms Steenkamp, apparently has the signature of South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs displayed on it.
The bat was shown in court and used to demonstrate how it may have struck the door on the night of Ms Steenkamp’s death.
The reconstruction was televised and moments after a close up of the bat appeared on the screen Gibbs tweeted: “Just saw my signature on the bat used by the accused in oscar trial... lol #neveradullmoment”
Several people responded replying: “LOL next thing you’ll be state witness”.
