This is the shocking moment a cyclist in Australia was threatened by a knife-wielding driver in a terrifying road rage attack.
The incident, which reportedly happened on a Peth road in Western Australia, was captured on the cyclist's helmet GoPro camera.
In the footage, which was posted online, a four-wheel-drive comes into view attempting to pass through a roundabout ahead of the bike.
The manouvre causes the two to pass within inches of each other, and forces the cyclist to swerve.
His bike clips the front of the vehicle, before he shouts: "what the **** are you doing".
The driver then screeches past the cyclist before pulling over at the side of the road and jumping out of his vehicle.
The enraged motorist then stands in the middle of the road brandishing a weapon, thought to be a rope splicing fid, and launches a torrent of abuse at the shaken cyclist.
He shouts: "You're a ******* idiot. I could charge you for that" at the cyclist, who is audibly shocked.
The cyclist shared the footage on YouTube, writing: "When I saw him stop, my plan was to just continue riding.
"I had no plans to debate the issue with him. After all, you can't reason with a neanderthal, can you?
"When he leaped out part of me was thinking if I run him over, I run him over.
"But, when I saw that weapon I couldn't get away quick enough!"
The knife-wielding driver reportefly escaped jail over the incident and was instead handed a $1500 (£970) fine.
